Listening, Sharing, & Learning Together
Community Voices highlights the experiences and perspectives of Pontiac residents, creating opportunities for dialogue, connection, and collective learning. Through storytelling and conversation, we help ensure that community insights inform the work shaping Pontiac’s future.
Pontiac is at a critical point in its history. Over the next decade, the city will undergo a once-in-a-generation transformation due to large-scale, multi-year projects such as the unwinding of the Woodward Loop, relocation of Oakland County Headquarters, and other large-scale infrastructure projects that increase connectivity. What we do now as a community and how we interact with the public and private stakeholders of these projects will directly impact the benefits reaped by residents in the decades to come.
In response to this opportunity, in 2026 PCF is launching Community Voices, a Pontiac resident advisory board for PCF programming. Community Voices members serve as trusted advisors to PCF, providing guidance, sharing expertise, and strengthening connections between PCF and the community. Their participation ensures that PCF’s work reflects local needs and promotes lasting positive change. If you would like to be involved in this work, or know someone who would be interested, please contact Program Manager, Ramon Valentin at ramon@pontiaccommunityfoundation.org.
