Overview
At the Pontiac Community Foundation, we believe that health disparities, lifespan and the ability to live a healthy, productive life should not be dependent upon your zip code. We also believe that Pontiac residents should have access to the same recreational, entrepreneurial and health support systems as their neighbors.
Impact
- Forgave over $5.5 million in medical debt for 5,100+ individuals in Pontiac and greater Oakland County through a partnership with Kirk in the Hills and RIP Medical Debt
- Led the community response to COVID-19, including leading the development of the MyCOVIDResponse platform that has served over 700,000 meals to individuals in need
- Host two 5K/Walks to benefit the elderly and support mental health initiatives.
- Partnered with Oakland Christian School to help provide scholarships for 10 students to attend.

Pontiac Community Foundation continues to support the needs of the greater Pontiac community through COVID-19 relief efforts by convening community leaders and organizations, hosting community coordination calls and providing COVID-19 vaccine support.
