Current Grants
Pontiac Community Foundation is excited to announce three new grant opportunities for your organization and the individuals you serve! These micro-grants are intended to provide you and your organization/business with the resources needed to continue and expand your impact in the Pontiac community. Funding consideration for these grants is highly flexible and we encourage you to be creative in the use of these funds. Applications for all three grants will be accepted until January 10th, 2025 at 11:59 PM. Please click the links below to learn more about each opportunity and determine which one is best for you!
Non Profit Micro-Grant
The Center for Pontiac Entrepreneurship’s Grant program supports local entrepreneurs and small businesses in pursuing innovation, expansion, and economic sustainability. CFPE seeks to continue this support by holding an open grant application for grants of up to $2,500 that assist Pontiac entrepreneurs in pursuing their small business goals. This grant application will be open until January 10, 2025 at 11:59 PM. Award recipients will be selected by the end of January 2025.

Community Transportation Grant
The Community Transportation Grant Program is designed to support nonprofit organizations that struggle with transportation barriers, hindering their ability to reach and serve their target audiences effectively. By providing transportation assistance for programmatic activities, this program aims to enhance the outreach, efficiency, and impact of nonprofits within Pontiac. Applications will be accepted until January 10, 2025 at 11:59 PM. Award recipients will be selected by the end of January 2025.

A strong nonprofit ecosystem is key to revitalization for marginalized communities. Nonprofits provide critical services that contribute to economic stability and mobility. These organizations understand community needs and know the best ways to meet them. Strong, well-resourced nonprofits can catalyze growth and opportunity in Pontiac. Designed to provide critical investment to nonprofit organizations that support and impact everyday community members and Pontiac residents, the Pontiac Impact Challenge provides financial awards to nonprofit organizations each year.
Pontiac Impact Challenge
The Pontiac Community Foundation (PCF) empowers leaders by providing grants for Oakland County professionals to participate in Leadership Oakland’s Annual Cornerstone Program. The Cornerstone Program, which spans nine months, offers a transformative experience, exposing participants to current regional resources and issues. It prompts deep introspection, encouraging individuals to consider their personal and group leadership growth, and take meaningful actions. Pontiac residents who possess this exceptional prowess and a genuine desire for leadership are strongly encouraged to apply for the Pontiac Professional Grant, as PCF aims to support and empower leaders in their pursuit of growth and community betterment.

Oakland County Health Equity Mini-Grants
The Oakland County Health Equity Council, in partnership with Pontiac Community Foundation, provides mini-grants to address the ongoing systemic and racial health inequities exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. By partnering to provide organizations that meet the Health Equity Council’s funding priorities, the Oakland County Health Equity Council seeks to further support organizations that address the continued, demonstrated needs of Oakland County residents who experience the direct and indirect impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
