The Pontiac Community Foundation’s Board of Directors just got bigger.On June 2 Cheryl Boodram and Andre Lamar Poplar were announced as the newest additions, joining Chair Curt Powers; Vice Chair Frederick Livingston; Secretary Adam Smart; Treasurer Gill Garrett; and Directors Kathalee James, Marcy Mancina, Kyle Westberg and Patrick Zaremba.The 501(c)(3) organization engages in philanthropy, leadership and collaboration to tackle Pontiac’s biggest issues, notably economic development, community development, quality of life and civic leadership initiatives. “We couldn’t be prouder to welcome Cheryl and Andre to our Board of Directors,” said Pontiac Community Foundation CEO Dustin McClellan in a statement. “Both have the skills, drive and love for the city of Pontiac that will help us continue to make this community a great place to live and work.”
